CLIENT: COMMONWEALTH BANK AGENCY: ALEPH ROLE: DESIGNER / ART DIRECTOR YEAR: 2014
The Commonwealth Bank of Australia wanted to grow their reach and penetrate SME markets in SEA countries that are adopting mobile technologies rapidly. The strategy was to enable hassle-free, quick and easy micro loans through a mobile application in Vietnam and Indonesia.

Research and Rapid Prototyping
We quickly kicked start the project by establishing user journey-maps to understand user needs and business requirements. From there, we proceeded with wireframing, prototyping (Invision), testing with real users and iterating our design solutions at every step.

Making Quick Decisions
Due to the tight timelines, we had to hasten the approval process and establish a design language. We brainstormed the brand persona and performed a gut-test/moodboard exercise collaboratively and created styletiles to be approved.
Meeting Real User Needs
We humanised our approach and stayed true to our design principles by asking for information only when we require it, and not before—and mitigating disappointment and errors by providing clear explanations through a simple and intuitive user interface.
